WOW! I'm so overwhelmed! I can't believe the wonderful words of encouragement and well wishes we have received! Thank you all so much! I don't have a lot of computer time here at the hospital (love that Ronald McDonald House for the grown-ups!) but I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts and offers to help. You're so awesome! I'm sorry I can not write you all individually. But thank you thank you thank you!
I think I mentioned before that everyone is home now except for Cameron--he will have his surgery this evening betwen 5 and 6. The metal plate that will go under his eye will be permanent and should not leave much of a scar. I'm afraid the healing process will start over at ground zero at that point. He's slowly starting to lose his swelling, and is opening his eye and using it. But by tonight he'll be back to puffy puffy michelin man face. lol! He's in good spirits as long as we keep him medicated. Last night was rough as he went a good 8 hour patch without meds and then they couldn't find a good vein for the blood draw. I finally had to leave as he'd been crying for 5 minutes straight as they tried to get the blood. OH, so hard to watch your kids suffer! So needlessly too!!
Danny is currently at the tow yard getting all our stuff (I hope all of it!!) out of the van. He actually went back to the site to look at the scene and said most of the debris was from the other car involved. He did see some fresh beer cans that we HOPE were not from the other vehicle. Cuz that would just make me really mad and it would be oh so hard to forgive. At this point, I hope the reason for the accident was that the other drive had a tire blow out or it was something out of her control. Danny is so good and is praying for her and her recovery as well. I have not been able to get myself to that point yet. =(
We've had wonderful cards and phone calls, emails, and visitors. Thanks to you all! I'll try to update tomorrow but I likely won't be able to post pictures again until I get home, probably Wednesday.

My prayers are with you and your family!
You've been so much in our heart and prayers. Please know that anything you need, I am happy to help. A ride to the doctor's, a meal, whatever! Please let Del or I know when you are up for visitors, we have some goodies for you and the kids that I'm sure you can use. We understand that things will be chaotic, we'll even just drop them off quickly at your door if you prefer.
Keep strong and positive, the Lord is by your side, and the babies will heal in no time at all.
Your friend,
