you're all invited!

I thought I'd share with you all the invitation to join us for my son's baptism on Saturday! It will be at 2p, so if you're interested, contact me for location information! We'd love to have friends and neighbors come and support Sean at this awesome time of his life. For those of you who don't know, in our church kids get baptized at 8 (as opposed to at birth), because that's when we feel the child is old enough to be accountable for right and wrong, and to make he decision on his own that he wants to be baptized. We're proud of him!

All right, this should be the last post for the day...I think I'm getting caught up!

I just wanted to share what I did Saturday evening at a crop at Laurie's house. I hung with Delfina, Angelina, Leesa, and others and scrapped into the wee hours of the morning. It was nice meeting you all! I'm up to Christmas of 06 and here's what I worked on (sorry the pictures are so blurry...I was having a really hard time getting good shots without glare for some reason--starting to want to upgrade my camera):

Kali's getting baptized, too - at 4:00! I didn't realize they were so close in age - maybe I'll send my mom to Sean's (wearing her surgical mask - see if I can bring back memories?) LOL! We'll be in scuba classes until 2:00 otherwise I would LOVE to come & see you guys! *(plus we have to get ready for ours by 4!!) Have a wonderful day!!!

thanks for leaving a comment on my blog!! i always get so excited when i get comments!! that makes me feel really good about myself that you liked my songs and poems.

i want to be famous for my work someday...or i want to write songs for singers, or i want to be a singer...i am working on two songs right now that i started last night. one is about life and how sometimes its hard, and the other is about being broken hearted (its called "Before Her")keep checking out my blog, and they will be there within the next week.

Hey Amie, I would love to come to Sean's baptism.... But it is a bit far away I will settle for seeing pics. Your LO's are excellent, love the glitter flourishes. And I can't comment on the 10,000 post eye candy but I would love to be in the draw :o)

I love that recipe too! Anything with cranberries makes me happy. Remind me to get you my pumpkin cranberry bread recipe for the fall time. I love the LO's, especially the the Christmas one. I had to put my little oasis away so I haven't scrapped since our night at Nat's. Oh and get this, since the antibotics I have felt 100 times better and been coughing up all sorts of junk, so I most likely have had an infection in my lungs since January!

The pages turned out great. I love baptisms. The Spirit is always so strong and they make me want to be a better person. How wonderful for your son!
