here's the story

Here's that last layout I worked on at Carrie's the other night...just finished it. I made it from the August kit at Scrapbook Nook, the one and only kit I've ever bought. I'm still trying to figure out what all I can do with the kit, but this and the "Unbelievable" layout from yesterday (with Cameron and Ethan in sepia) are my first attempts.

I have to say, I'm so happy these days! I love having the kids back in school and being on a set schedule again. Routine is so good for me and my house! The kids are doing great so far--#s 1 and 2 walk to and from the bus stop on their own now, so I don't have to worry so much about cramming everyone into the van half a dozen times a day. Ethan's bus schedule never got submitted =( so I may still have to drop him off and pick him up another day or two. It's complicated with the girls I watch, but we're making it work.

I've been eating right and we've all been eating home-cooked meals (cheaper and better for you) and that helps us keep to a budget.

I feel like my life, house, and spirit are in order and that makes me a happy girl. I finished all three of those Stephanie Meyer books <-------- if you have not read them, go get yourself a copy now! I love them! The love expressed in the books reminds me that I have my very own soulmate right here right now and to appreciate him more! My house is clean and staying that way for the most part. We're getting close to being done with all the doctors appointments and follow ups, probably one or two more for Cameron and one more for me, and then we'll be ready to settle with the other driver's insurance company. I look forward to getting that done and being done with this chapter of our life.

I have good friends that I know I can call on in a heartbeat and I know they'd do the same for me--for some reason, it always takes me about 3-5 years in a ward to get that far. How sad is that? It's not that I haven't had friends before; I'm friendly, I just don't really put myself out there. And I've been doing that more and that just adds to making my spirit serene and my soul whole.

Boy I'm sappy today, am I not!?

I just haven't been able to stop smiling for the past week. (knock on wood!)

Yeah for good weeks! I'm gonna have one if it kills me :-) I feel the same way now too that I've got those people -heart- that I can call on when I'm in the depths of dis-pare, been watching Anne of Green Gables too much. Love that feeling so much, just makes you feel full filed as a person at times. So glad I've met you girl!

I love how the fireman page turned out! The title looks really great! I KNOW I'm one of those friends you're talking about! I was thinking about that earlier today too. You and Christine are so wonderful! I know we're not moving far away, but I'll be really sad not to be so close and to know that I won't be seeing you at least once a week at church!
