Yeah I know, I'm probably the last person in civilization who has not yet seen "Meet the Robinsons." But as I mentioned in yesterday's blog, we just got a bunch of new movies from the library so I now have it to review! (PS, I loved it!)

The bad guy's lines are hilarious! I read on IMDB that Jim Carey was offered this role and turned it down. The weird thing is, the actor does still kinda sound like Jim. Not lots, but has the same comedic timing and a similar villainous inflection in his tone.
The plot was very creative and kept me guessing until about 2/3 through when I figured out where it was all leading to. There are lots of cute parts that go right over the kids' heads that I laughed out loud at, for example, when the uncle and mom are doing their karate food fight at the dinner table in typical dubbed-over chinese movie style...so hilarious! And the frog band was too cute. Anyhoo, reserve your copy at the library or rent a copy today! Both kids and adults will enjoy it.

It's a cute movie! My boys did not really get the whole idea of the future family, past etc. idea. Once my oldest figured it out- he wanted to tell EVERYONE how it all works out. I loved the dubbed over Asian part too! None of the kids got it. I'd buy it. :)
