As a last hurrah for the Design Team competition on the Nook, we had a little virtual crop party/set of challenges. I did the following:
1st, a lift of someone's layout in the gallery that I love. This is a great one by CamillaE. Hers is here. The following is mine, a layout featuring Cameron leaving the hospital. He was pretty light-sensitive and stayed in the wagon with his blanket over his head from the hospital room to the car:
The second challenge was to make a congrats card that would in turn be mailed to one of the new Design Team members tomorrow. I made it out of 'Love, Elsie' products:
The third was to take a picture of ourselves this evening, preparing for the 'party', gathering our materials, food, making ipod playlists, etc. We were to use an arrow, bling, and pink and/or brown on our layout. I had Danny snap a bunch of pictures of me at my scrappy table and tweaked the photo a bit. I printed it in sepia and then color-penciled in the scissors in pink and my eyes in green--that's hard to catch, even in person. I think this is one of my favorite layouts ever!
I don't know if they'll be doing any more challenges tonight so I best get on over there and check. =)

You did a great job at the nook Amie...They have a ton of Amazing talent there.. Your layouts were everybit as good as the next.. but it's hard when they have 20 and can only pick so many.. My vote was for you..but there is next time it seems they have quite a few calls.
I think that LO would have to be my favourite ever too.... Love all your LO's
