you all know my love affair with surveys

So you're just gonna have to deal with another one.  I don't think I ever met a survey I didn't like.  I'll even take a survey about taking surveys.  I spent 25 minutes on the phone the other night with a woman who asked me the most random questions about Hot Pockets and and PB&J Uncrustables...I did it for the pure love of taking the survey, but at the end, I was informed that I'd earned a whopping $5 for my time.  Score.

Anyhoo, surveys come and go, and I get tagged all the time to complete them on friends' blogs, but several have been around quite a few times, so if you've tagged me and I didn't participate, it's likely because I have no original answers any more, having done it several times.  That being said, on to a new survey that I received from Number 2.  (I haven't decided, Christine, if I'm going to refer to you as "Number Two", "#2", "No. 2", "Num. 2" or what have you.  What do you suggest?  For those of you questioning this odd turn of blogging, I have two good friends named Christine who both have last names that start with C as well.  Getting emails or blog comments from them is always fun, since I have to figure out which CC it came from!  And...I'm off target yet again.  I get off target often.  I'm a stay-at-home mom.)

Onto the survey!

1. Do you like blue cheese?  blended with the proper seasoning on a nice fois gras, with just a touch of -- nope, can't do it, I had you going there, didn't I?  I'm a picky eater...I can do blue cheese in salad dressing occasionally but only if it's super subtle.

2. Have you ever smoked?  nope, never even been tempted.  ick.

3. Do you own a gun?  hubby does and it freaks me out.  I know I'll get heck from Heather A. about that, but I hate the thought of it even being in the house.

4. What flavor Kool Aid is your favorite? I don't do koolaid.  I don't know when or why, but somewhere along my sojourn in mortality, I found I have a huge aversion to koolaid.  I find it amusing that grape koolaid turns my lil' ones' poops neon green, though.  (remember...stay-at-home mom here...)

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointment?  Yeah, a little.  I feel like whatever I tell them, even if it's the honest-to-goodness truth, that they think I'm lying.  I've seen a few too many "House" episodes.  Oh, and that reminds me, we missed last night's new episode because we were doing FHE, was it good?  We'll likely not get to watch it until Friday.

6. What do you think of hot dogs?   Horrible in theory, but so delicious in mouth.  This past year I discovered the Hebrew National's brand of 99% fat free hot dogs.  They taste just about as good as the real thing and they're only one WW point.  Score.

7. Favorite Christmas movie?  I know "Luke II" doesn't really qualify, but I absolutely love that little short flick.  Also, "A Christmas Story" is absolute necessity each Christmas season.  Am I not a walking contradiction?

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? hot cocoa.  yummmm.

9. Can you do push ups?  not even a little bit

10. What's your favorite piece of jewelry?   wedding ring of course, though I do have several favorites.  This past Christmas, my hubby surprised me with one of those slightly S-shaped pendant necklaces that they featured on commercials the whole Christmas Season.  You know the one, where the wife is sleeping and the husband sneaks a necklace onto her neck and she wakes up all, "oh, my, there's something foreign on my neck, whatever could it be?"  and he's got the proudest expression on his face like "yeeeeeeah, boyyyyy, who's your Daddy?"  and she throws herself with reckless abandon onto his pajama-clad frame and professes her undying love because he was sweet enough to give her diamonds for Christmas...you know that one?  Well, that's what he gave me and that's HOW he gave it to me.  There was much rejoicing and reckless abandon going on that day.

11. Favorite hobby?   Ironing.  No wait, 'possum hunting.  Umm, hold on, it starts with an S...skeetball!  Psychic Network...No, that's not it.  Oh yes, scrapbooking.  I almost forgot for half a second.

12. Do you have A.D.D.? I have pretty much the opposite of A.D.D.  I pay so much attention, I notice everything you have ever done or said.  So watch your back.

13. What's your weight?  150 and my body appetite has rebelled against going any lower.

14. Middle name? Anne.  Isn't that just sickeningly sweet?  When I was little, my mom would call for me in that sing-song-ey Snow White voice "Amie Annie!!"  And there would be much puking in the land.  (PS Mom, I like it now.  I like that my initials spell out "Aah."  Like a breath of fresh air.  Or something.)

15. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment. I really need to go fold the laundry, I wonder how many calories were in that bag of tortilla chips I finished for breakfast, and Lyle the Friendly Viking is an adorable little Veggie Tale.

16. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink?  for the most part, I really am good about drinking water and crystal light.  Lately I've hit a Pepsi craze though.

17. Current worry? putting over $3500 into our truck this year.  SHEESH.  I'm ready to stick a fork in it.  $2800 for the whateverthecrapitwas last November, then a $100 battery, four new tires, the whateverthecrapitwaspart2 that we fixed last week for $440 that DID NOT FIX THE A/C and likely another 8.4 million to fix the compressor this week.  Anybody wanna buy an S-10?

18. Current hate right now? the aforementioned 150 pounds --err, really only the last 25-ish.

19. Favorite place to be? on Vacay with my family.  19 hours and counting.

20. How did you bring in the New Year?  Macayos with CC and Mr. Dee Jay and Dude and Bro. Dude followed by some food, fun, and french kissing fireworks at midnight.

21. Where would you like to go? I'd like to take my family back up to Snowflake, find a magical land of free babysitters so Hubster and I could do a temple session, and then enjoy taking our kiddos around the temple grounds.  We went to the open house years ago, but Sean was only 2 so he doesn't remember.

22. Name three people who will complete this? I hope several of you do, but I'm guessing:  Tiff, CC, and hmmm....who else...oh the pressure!!  let's say Becky, though I don't know if she's the survey type.

23. Do you own slippers? I do!  pink ones!  One of the few pink articles of clothing in this house.

24. What color shirt are you wearing right now?  brown

25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets?  I don't think I ever have...?

26. Can you whistle? Yes, I can both suck and blow.  Feast on that.

27. Favorite color? today, lime green

28. Would you be a pirate? if Hottie McNaughty Johnny Depp were my captain, I would be the best little pirate queen ever.  Promise.

29. What songs do you sing in the shower?  Songs from "Wicked".  (31 hours and counting!)

30. Favorite Girl's Name?   Natalie

31. Favorite boy's name? Brady

32. What's in your pocket right now? wouldn't you like to know?  just kidding, nothing.  My pants are too tight to fit anything in my pockets.  No joke.

33. Last thing that made you laugh? my son, trying to say "It's a bridge."  I had to get him to repeat it 3 or 4 times before I was sure he wasn't cursing.  Believe me, I will try my darndest to get that on the blog.

34. Best bed sheets as a child?  I only remember one set of rainbow ones.

35. Worst injury you've ever had?  my broken sternum was pretty painful last June.  And doing whatever I did to my left arm in November (it STILL hurts when I twist it, I've just grown to live with it).

36. Do you love where you live? mmm....love is a strong word.  I'm content with where I live.  I LOVE Surprise, I LOVE my ward, I love our location, but our home....nah, I'm just content for now.   Next month will mark 6 years of living here, but it's fun to look around.  I am secure in the knowledge that there's always something better, bigger, more fabulous, so you just need to be happy with what you have.  1100 square feet is pretty tight though!

37. How many TVs do you have in your house?  2.  Sometimes it feels like 2 too many.

38. Who is your loudest friend?  Oh I could have some fun with this one.  But I'll just say Heidi because she's loud, proud, and knows it.  (I have to take a little jab at her now, because once upon a time, she teased all us "Twilight" fans, saying the premise of the books sounded stupid and juvenile.  She just finished all three books last week and she is TOTALLY smitten.  In your face, Heidi!  In your... oh whatever.  Glad you're on the vamptastic wagon.)

39. How many dogs do you have?   None.  Too lazy.

40. Does someone have a crush on you?  At least one someone.  Wouldn't that be fun if there was more than one...?   Oh stop, I kid!  I kid!!  Just having a little bloggy fun.

41. What is your favorite book?  Just finished "Twilight" again with my hubby--his second time, my fourth.  Sigh.  Swoon.  Repeat.

42. What is your favorite candy? Reeses peanut butter cups.

43. Favorite Sports Team? ick.  Oh, if I must, the Sunyotecardnibacks.

44. What song do you want played at your funeral?  "I'm Already There"  by Lonestar.

Ahh...my day is complete.  Now, I would love it if all da playahz out there would play along!

Wow! Decisions, decisions. Shall I go with the "oh so formal Number Two?" or the artist Formerly known as symbol, #2. Hee-hee. Number 2 is just fine, but if you're in a hurry #2 will also substitute. BTW, you are so lucky. I can't wait for a full account of "Wicked." Yup, I want it all so I can imagine I'm there *sigh* I think you'd notice if I packed myself in one of your bags. Have fun!!!!!

LOL - I have to tell you - I almost didn't read this because it was so long, so I flew by a few of them and the word "loudest" jumped out at me - and I found myself curious - "would she pick me?" and looky there?! I am proud! LOL! And apparently obnoxious, too! But that's me, sadly! LOL!

(found you through PW...)
I was scanning your blog randomly (what else does a mother of two small children do on a Friday night?) and noticed the words "temple" and "ward" mentioned hinting that you may be LDS. What a fun place the internet is! Randomly finding other LDS women through websites we both love!

I keep hearing about these Twilight books, but have never read one. Are they good enough that I should be spending my money and free time on?
