it's still camping...just in a reeeeeeally nice tent

So the original plan was for the Gardners, the Cugliettas, and ourselves to go camping this weekend; a maiden voyage for the Cugliettas since they've been married.  And we've all been pretty durn excited about it--not as much as Ethan of course.  Who I kid you not, asks no less than a dozen times a day, "When are we going to go camping?!" and has asked every day since I think late February.  So, finally, we could give him a date.

Then CC had to go mention to her doc what she was planning and he said that she absolutely could not go without a certain machine she uses at night for breathing, so, that was out the window.

However, minutes away from where we were going to camp is a really nice little hole in the wall cabin.  Ok well it's more like a resort, really.  The Lowry cabin in Prescott (that's pronounced Pres-kitt for natives and Pres-cott for every other normal human being) resides about five minutes away from our original destination.  So we're grudgingly moving the campout indoors.  Ok, well maybe not so grudgingly.  It's going to be fabulous up there with perfect weather and I'd haphazard a guess, less bugs indoors.  And sooooo much less work.  And soooo much less dirt.  And, let's face it, we're gonna have the time of our lives.

So, thanks, CC, for bein' all sickly and crap.

Just kidding.  We'll get you camping some other time.  I vow, as God as my witness, you will sleep in a tent and make pishy in the woods.

See ya'll in a few days!

Very recently I turned my back on camping. I decided food taste better without dirt in it...I hope you get cc to make pishy in the woods...I bet you can make her do it on this camp trip, just take her on a really long walk - and bring the tp.

O.K. so maybe my parents place isn't exactly camping but there are still woods with lots of trees so we can still make Christine pishy in the woods. And tell Ethan that there is still plenty of dirt to be found, you can just wash it off him easier =-)

LOL. The both of us appreciate the move in-doors very much. And I assure you the scrapping will be a lot easier in the big Lowery tent, not to mention bug less food. Oh you'll see my plan is coming into full effect........
