12 of 12 pictures

Following Susan's suggestions, on the 12th of each month I take dozens of pictures, eventually choosing 12 to help document the day.  Tomorrow I hope to get the scrapbook page done.  Here are the 12 that stood out today.

This is the way I was most rudely awoken at 6p.  (By Danny, who was letting me know he was staying on at work for another 6 hours of overtime.)

As I unloaded the dishwasher, I was reminded how OCD I am.I have to separate the spoons, knives, and forks in the silverware holder.  But it just makes sense.right?  If they're all in the same compartment, then it's so much easier to put away!  And it's prettier.

I went to play my guitar and found this most horrific sight.  And I just replaced this same string last September.

The lunch of champions:  top ramen.

The kids love playing Uno Attacks-here's a cool shot of the machine spitting out cards.

DSCF6109

Sean's bath art in on the shower tiles.  Don't worry, these special crayons are made for the bath.

I decided to shave all the kids heads pretty short tonight.  Sean hasn't had hair this short since he was three probably.  I just figured with all the swiming, etc, this would be an easier way to take care of hair this summer.

DSCF6113

I came in one dollar under budget when grocery shopping.  That always makes me feel good!

DSCF6114

The movie the kids got from the library today.and have watched over and over.  And over.

DSCF6116

The book Danny and I are almost finished with (for the second time, lol).  When reading it last night, we got into a huge fight/discussion which sent me to bed angry.   I take this book and its characters seriously!  (too seriously most of the time)

Sean worked on around 15 arrow points last night in his Scout book.  He'll be getting at least two new silver arrows during the next pack meeting.  This project was to write a secret letter using invisible ink (lemon juice); kinda neat.

DSCF6087

And my self-portrait with my new hair.  Much better than last month, lol!

I love the last pic with your hair! I guess I haven't really gotten to see it. Love, love, love it! Your eyes look really great in the picture too. BTW, I just finished reading Eclipse again also. Unfortunately, all of my character debates happen inside my head. :)

Sigh- I thought I was the only crazy who separated her utensils. So glad you are OCD, too. ;)
