odds n ends n peanut butter

A bunch of little things I wanted to mention today.  Some littler than others:

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddys and Daddys-to-be out there!  I hope you had a loverly weekend celebrating the fruit-of-your-loins.  =)  True story, I once fired my Dad on Father's Day.  I think we were on vacation and he did something that just did not quite sit right with me, and that was it, he was out!  I've since forgiven him.  He's done his job nicely for over twenty-twelve years.  And a special shout-out to my own hubby who was nice enough to give me foot rubs and back massages all day, cleaned the kitchen, and did laundry.  How that happened I am not 'xactly sure, but I ain't complaining!  Love you baby!

We have slowly over time started black-outs on Sunday.  That is, no television, no video games, and now no computer or radio either.  That includes email.  Which is very hard for me to do.  But we did it!  Just wanted to let ya'll know, if you try to get ahold of me online on Sundays for now on, I won't get your messages 'til Monday morn.  The house was nice and quiet.  Til the kids got bored at precisely 6pm.

Yesterday was also our one year anniversary of this scary event.  Can you believe it's been a year already!?  I'm so grateful my little family is alive and healthy and still healing from our rough summer of 07.

Amie's freecycle is giving away one large 17" box monitor.  It's a few years old and a hand-me-down from one lovely lady and as I may or may have not mentioned before, it's too big for our new armoire computer desk.  So if anyone really needs it and can use it, please contact me.

Hey you, it was good seeing you at the pool. I was trying to sun my behind and I fried it. Good times. Good for you. Sundays are nice when they are quiet. Take care, Tammi
