Amy - GREAT JOB! But I laughed when I saw you scooping - your scoop is HUGE! I used a mini-scooper that is a teenie bit bigger than a mellon-baller! No wonder you only got 120 pieces.
My last batch gave me 170...do it again girl...and make 'em smaller. (That way they are "mouth sized" and there is no evidence on your finger tips!!)
LOL, I love your "vlogs" really love them. I am not a peanut fan maybe I could make them with cashews? Mmmmm, or almonds, or a mix of those nuts. (drooling now)
You crack me up... That recipe looks yummy.. Im so going to have to make it. You are so animated and fun. I love watching your videos. Hope you have a Happy Holiday :)
I love it! You do make great crockpot videos. I love that you counted how many pieces of chocolate you ate while you made the recipe and the spoon at the end was hilarious! You need to do more cooking with the video camera on.
Now- if I make those, do you think I could throw a bag of marshmallows in during that final stir? Kind of add a little rocky road maneuver and see where it takes me? I like this recipe- it's fast :-)
Ok, I made these the other day and these things are evil. Run away from them if you have the chance.
Our first batch burned because I took the lid off and stirred plus the chocolate was at the bottom.
If you want to know why NOT to remove the lid, I can tell you (cause I am a geek that way). Removing the lid causes condensation on the lid, and then the water droplets fall onto the chocolate and cause it to seize. I don't know exactly what the seizing is but it causes the chocolate to become grainy and gross.
The second batch turned out really really good though. Maybe too good. Even my kid who "doesn't like nuts" thought it was really good.

CrockpotLady Stephanie sent me here. Great preview of Jim and Pam's (The Office) life when they have a few kids. You could be her stunt double!
