just a quickie

OK, I have lots to write and upload and detail but I'm too tired as of right this minute (I type these posts generally days in advance--as I type this right now, it is late Monday night) to be clever or wait for my recent youtube video to upload.

However, I just wanted to state that Man, I love Mondays.  I particularly love the Monday after Christmas Break is over and school resumes.  Once the kids left, I turned on my ipod (thank you honey!) and got to work and nearly cleaned my house top to bottom.  I cleaned out clothes and the kids' toyboxes and closets, swept and mopped and did a ton of things on my to-do list.  We got all the Christmas stuff and tree put away so the living room feels a bit sparse, but clean.  Feels good.

Danny just started his new shift, Mon-Thurs 8a-8p, and that's pretty great. Nice to have him home a bit earlier.

I'm all registered for my next class, Anatomy and Physiology, and just read the syllabus today from my instructor.  I'm nervous, but eager to get a move on.

I even finished a book today, "These is My Words" by Nancy E. Turner.  It took me months to get into it, but on our way home from California last week, I finally got sucked in and absolutely loved it.  I cried and cried.  {only a woman would make a remark like that, right?}  I wasn't expecting the ending and have quickly started the second book "Sarah's Quilt."  Already it has a much different feel to it; I hope I like it as much.  Anyone read it?

All right, that's all for now; I promise more interesting things tomorrow.  I shall leave you with a joke I heard at Dramagenics the other night:

What did Zero say to Eight?

Nice belt.

I cried reading These is my Words, too. How much can one woman go through? Sarah's quilt was good but harder to get into and the thrid, Star Garden was hard to read but it was nice to have it come to an end. I like endings.
If you still need something to clean, my door is open.

So what are you going to school for? I love Anatomy & Physiology and took many classes in high school and college - so if you need any help or a study buddy - I'd be happy to join you! Anyway, hope all is well - feel like I haven't seen you in forever, hope your holidays were great!

I can't seem to keep my house clean. I'm constantly on guard with the puppy that my housework has gone down the drain. I can only imagine how good it feels to have everything clean...I'll just dream about it.
