2 kids, 2 events, same night

It kinda stunk when I found out that Ethan's Christmas Program at school was the exact same night and time as Sean's band performance. Hard to pick which to support--my last kindergartner doing his cute cute "Must Be Santa!" song or my first child's first band performance. Fortunately Dan was off shift that day, so we were able to split up. Also fortunately, I'd been at Ethan's school the day before and saw the dry-run practice. So in essence, I saw his performance already, just at a really raw point. ;)

Most of our pictures are lousy because of the low-light and distance conditions, but you get the idea. Ethan's the fourth one in on the bottom left. Oh and see those snowflakes? I made some of those when I was volunteering in Cameron's class this week, ha! Mine are the round and square ones. Who makes rectangular snowflakes??

Sean's pictures are even worse, but the performance was so cute. This is the 5th grade beginning band and I'm very proud of how dedicated Sean has been to learning the clarinet this semester.

Good job, guys!

Ah! I hate when you have to choose! I am glad you technically got to see both!

'Tis the busiest time of the year. I'm glad you had Dan to tag-team with. Sean is so grown up!
