Last week we had a couple of super windy days, and coincidentally, Grandma had just given the boys 3 kites to play with.
Flying kites is one of those things that I have to be in the right mood to do. Mostly it's me setting up the kite, getting it to fly, stabilizing it, and handing the reins over to child #1. Then me setting up child #2's kite, getting it to fly, etc. Wash, rinse, repeat.
(I loved this shot for the sunbeams coming down on Sean)
Cameron's never even flew before it had gotten stuck in a tree. I thought it was good and lost-several times-but it always made it's way back to us.
They were pretty resilient little Wal-mart kites! Several times they fought battles with nearby trees, came out worse for wear, but in the end, always flew again.
Thanks, Grandma!

It was a perfect windy day yesterday! How fun!
I Love flying kites, but I know what you mean about doing it with kids. Sometimes it is more work than fun. What great pictures of the boys.
Perfect weather right now for that! Glad you made it back from Canada safely and recharging with the heat and had fun despite it being so severely cold. When is the next scrap crop? Miss scrapping!
