huzzah for day camp!

Sean and Cameron had a fun 3-days at Cub Scout Day Camp last week.

They joined a huge group for the themed "Knights of the Pueblo". Everything had to do with medieval times I guess...they made swords and shields and there was something about pulling a sword out of the stone, etc.

They were outside the entire time, so water was a must! They were constantly spraying and being sprayed by water bottles, playing with water balloons, and in all otherwise staying wet. Leaders and kids alike.

They got to pass off the belt loops for swimming, BBgun shooting, and archery with bow and arrow. Pretty cool huh?

They absolutely loved it--and Dan liked the one day he joined them as a chaperone. I'm so glad they had the chance to do this...it really was a great experience for them and I had a lot of quiet time at home (1:30p-11p!). I did some major spring cleaning and got a ton done!
