So the past couple of weeks have brought a few unexpected situations, causing my energy level and desire to blog to tank.
We started off with Danny getting fired from his job last week. It was a completely ridiculous situation and the union is totally backing him, so an appeal has been filed with the VP of the company. {He let a patient sit up front in the ambulance since she was having extreme claustrophobia issues...she was completely fine and only being taken to the hospital for some shoulder pain after a small car accident} We should hear back in the next week or two if they override the termination order.
Then my Dad started having some bizarre health problems--while my son was up there visiting for a week--so I went drove up to get Sean and offer to help while there. Fortunately they figured out the issue (just a meds mix-up) so Dad ended up being just fine. Glad he's OK.
Due to that, Sean had some PTSD issues, hyperventilating and throwing up, which was just fabulous. He's always had anxiety, and for the most part, I think he was doing this to himself. He had a better night last night, so for that we're grateful.
Then yesterday, Ethan started throwing up (who knows why?!) without any other flu symptoms. He was fine the rest of the day and is totally normal today.
Never a dull moment...ha...I pray for dull!
How is your summer going?

Oh Amie, how frustrating about Dan! I really hope they get it all worked out, unions are great in these situations. And I'm glad your dad is doing alright, how scary!
oh, amie, i can so relate - i always say i just want a boring life and i promise not to complain! please keep us informed of all situations and i will be sending positive, fun, summer vibes your way.
How frustrating! I hope the job thing works out.
Wow. That is crazy about your hubby. Things work out for the best. It is hard to see the forest for the trees sometimes. I will pray things turn out for the best for your family. Glad it was only a minor med situation with your dad. {{{good summer vibes}}}
Ugh! Not a good start to your summer, but hopefully things will turn around, starting with your hubby getting his job back!
Holy Cow Amie! I hope things are better for you next week. I'm sorry about Danny's job loss. Let's hope they can get it back for him. Sounds like he was putting the needs of the patient ahead of everything else. Glad your dad is okay. I'm sorry Sean has those issues. I have them and they are awful. I can't imagine being a kid and having to deal with that. Keep your chin up--The Sun'll come out tomorrow!
Sending you a good ol' country girl hug!
Im glad to hear your Dad is ok! That would be scary! I bet he was glad you came up!
Will be praying about the job situation and your husband!

If you need anything.. Im here!
Wowzers... when it rains it pours! I hope things are starting to look up over at the Haroldson household!
No wonder you haven't been blogging - noone in their right mind would be with all that going on. Hopeing everything works out with the job situation and glad to hear your dad is okay. Hope your summer gets a bit more boring pretty soon.
Your summer makes mine sound boring. Oh yeah, it has been boring. We are still in AHH over the whole Net Flix through the WII business and we have been couch potatoes.
I see that everything worked out with Dan, thank goodness. My brother always told me nice guys finish last, I hated that, I think he is almost right.
Hope the rest of your summer is smoother.
