oh, is it sunday? i hadn't noticed

Yesterday I had an awesome day, totally kept on top of my charts and meds for 3 patients, felt good, went home happy.  Well, other than this creepy older (62) guy flashed me his privates and said something to the effect of "it's more than your husband's got".  That had a definite ick factor.

Today was Day 9, I think, and I had four patients all to myself. Admittedly, it was a little bit of a mad house. An angry fiancé yelled at me over the phone for 20 to 30 minutes--you think I exaggerate, but really, it may have even been longer.  It bordered on ridiculous. I felt like more of a drug pusher than a nurse. I ate my lunch in approximately eight minutes, then held my pee for about five hours. On the upside, Mr. Inappropriate from yesterday kept his junk in his pants, and instead, just swore at me all day. Livin' the dream.

This is a hilarious blog post that totally summed up my last two months of the kids' school year.  Check it.

This is one of my favorite songs right now: "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. Pretty much anything by them is great.

That's all I can think of right now.  My bathtub is calling.

Your day at work sounds "interesting", for sure! I'm glad you have a sense of humor big enough to handle the unexpected. :-)

Yikes. After what you described I could never be a nurse. Nurses do not get paid enough if they have to put up with all of that and I'm sure more.
