anniversary excursion

I am sooo bad at taking pictures! We had our 9th anniversary date this weekend (Grandma came over and watched the kids so we could have 24 hours on our own!) and we did lots of different things and I kept forgetting to take pictures! We had a lot planned but several things fell through...then this afternoon Danny started to get head-achy and really tired. He'd had the flu mid-week and perhaps we just planned a bit too much for this weekend while he was still recovering. Anyway, we ate out lots, (Abuelo's and Cold Stone Creamery, some of our favorites!) got to see "A Night at the Museum" (sooo cute!) and did some shopping at Old Navy, Anchor Blue, and Aeropostle in the AZ Mills Mall. It was nice to have a little time away from the kiddos, even if we had to rethink our plans halfway thru the date.

Now it wasn't actually our anniversary--that's not for another three weeks or so, around Valentine's Day, but we always celebrate before or after the holiday, so we can celebrate on our own without the rest of the world. I'll write more about our nine years then.

Looks like fun! I want to see that movie so bad.. My husband was going to propose to me on Valentines day and I was really excited. Lat minute he decided not to because i was probably expecting it. I was so disapointed. He asked a week later. That my V-DAY story. Take care, Tammi

Too funny, our anniversary is Feb 22, only 4 years for us, though. If Gwennie wasn't still nursing, 24 hours alone sounds like HEAVEN, but she is, so I am hoping to get just an afternoon/evening w/ hubby alone. (I am planning a fun day, though.)

I can read blogs again, thank goodness, I was lonely! And home w/ sick kids! SO REALLY LONELY! LOL

I haven't gone back through all of your blogs, but if you haven't written your "love story" it would be fun to read. Our family kind of went through and wrote them down a couple of years ago.

Congrats on nine years. You are getting ready to enter the double digits!! Hope that your nine have been as great as our 30+!
