konked out

Just a little something I worked on yesterday during my quiet day with no daycare kids. (We wanted to make sure the flu was G-O-N-E
gone from our house before filling it with little visitors.) Anyway, this layout is about the fact that for a while, Ethan would fall asleep on the living room floor in front of the television. Teletubbies would put me to sleep too! I used some new Technique Tuesday stamps (my first acrylic stamps ever!) that my friend gave me (thanks, Liz!) and the QuickCutz handle and dies that another friend gave me (thanks, Shanna!) for the hearts. Danny says there's too much negative space and I should have crammed it all on one page. He just doesn't get the inner workings of the scrapbooker's mind.

Oh, by the way, Danny aced his Entrance exam to get into the paramedic academy. He then did an awesome job on the skills testing--he was given a scenario with a sick person and then had to "go!" and do his magic. I think it was a person with chest pain. Anyway, tomorrow he expects a call detailing when his oral board interview will take place and assuming that goes well, he's good to go. Hopefully, everything will go according to plan.

congrats to Danny for the great exam. I hope it all works out for your family. Your little guy is so darned cute ready for school. I don't even want to think about Kasey being old enouph for preschool next fall. Well, that is if I ever get her potty trained.
