**had to edit the spelling mistakes in the title--they were driving me nuts. I'm such the grammar and spelling police.
Confession: I hate orange. I really do. I detest it. I hate fall colors and find them very very ugly. I hate Thanksgiving and fall-inspired decorations because snooooooooooore, blah blah blah, orange and brown. I have a large stack of orange cardstock and patterned paper that I've been collecting (and giving away every so often) because I just do not use it. Yet, it has come to pass that I have a son who loves orange. His name is Ethan. He has three favorite shirts in his closet--all three are orange. This is why I have so many orange pictures. For the most part, I will find any other element in the picture to draw color from so as to avoid the possibility of my scrapbook pages looking like the inside of a pumpkin. On that note, I hate pumpkin too. Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin bread. The smell of pumpkin. The taste of pumpkin. The ooey gooeyness of a pumpkin when you are gutting it. Ick ick ick. Yet, I just could not avoid the beautiful color combination of orange and blue in these pictures of Ethan. So after being totally clueless on how to do this layout, and pulling out a bunch of items that might perhaps go together, and looking online for layout inspiration and finding nothing, and looking through my lift-these-some-day stash and again finding nothing, and complaining about how I hate the color orange and therefore hate scrapping it, and trying a new technique only to hate it and pick it apart with my paper piercer and stabbing myself quite painfully in my finger (OUCH), I finally completed this layout and two cards from scraps. And I made it work. So there, orange. I am conqueror after all.

Your one funny gal. I love the way it turned out even though you don't like orange. Even the cards came out awsome.
You definitely make orange work! Those are so adorable. I love the orange and blue together. Way to kick orange's butt!
Orange is a tough for a lot of people but it's a great layout and you made it work.. I always love yoru stories... Great job on the cards as weel
Doesn't look pumpkin-y at all.
Blasphemy! Fall is the best yummiest time of year, pumpkins, cinnamon, and apple cider. I would paint my house pumpkin and chocolate brown if I could. I have always wanted to photography a wedding in October where the bouquets had fall leaves, the colors were pumpkin and chocolate brown and the decorations included lots of pumpkins. The LO looks great! I may not be going to the 2peas crop, Nat hasn't heard back from Ashley :-(
Orange is tough to work with, but you did it! They all came out great!
You crack me up Amie! I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who hates the colors and smells of Thanksgiving! Your layout and cards are beautiful! You could make puse green look good.
