song request blog candy

There hasn't been a new suggestion for day 5 for the journal yet, and tonight I am going to be busy at our Super Saturday (on a Friday night!), a crafty day for us ladies at church. Thus, this will probably be my only blog post for today.

I'm gonna ask for your help in choosing what song/music video I do next! I'm taking requests. =) Do any of you have a favorite song that can be adapted to piano or guitar? I'm not promising I'll be able to pick it out or find the sheet music, but it would be good for me to challenge myself and learn something new.

Leave a suggestion in the comments and if I pick your song, I'll give you some nice blog candy! And this time, it'll be actual candy...how about a lil' box of these:...to commemorate the yummily delicious deep fried Snickers bar I had at the fair last week. I'll pick the winner on Wednesday morning. Make sure if that you leave your email address or a way for me to contact you. International participants welcome and good luck.

For those of you who are new to my blog or just discovered that I oddly lose my shyness when it comes to performances on the internet (?), look to the left and on the sidebar you will find a selection of all my past music video posts.

Wow! Am I really the first one to comment? Can we leave multiple suggestions? I have one, but I may come up with more. Not that I'm DYING for the candy... I'm just positive that I can think of more songs that you would perfect the quality of! My favorite song (one of them) is "You Got It" by Roy Orbison. I'd love to hear you sing it on the piano like they did at the end of that movie... Boys on the Side. :D

I also like Colbie Caillat - but I'd much prefer you to do Capri by Colbie!
And I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE for you to play Pachabel's Kannon on the piano. That is my ALLTIME fave!!!
I'm soooo curious what you end up doing! :)
