183!!

I'd like to say that although it appears the contrary, I do do more than just scrapbook all day...but, we don't tell falsehoods, Anne Shirley. *wink* Actually I did get a lot done yesterday, though do me a favor, if you come over, don't look in my bathrooms. Try (or try not) as I may to keep them clean, it's hard to keep up with one child and his explosive diarrhea and another who is not only throwing up, but just barely tall enough but yet oh-so-proud to be able to pee standing up like his brothers while the third and fourth, well... you can fill in your own blanks. Such is my Life with the Boys. If you were me, you'd be grateful for a little scrappy respite every now and then (or now and now and now and then) as well.

So, a few more layouts over the past few days, plus here are the Christmas presents I was working on all weekend for CC and Dude. I am quite proud of these little Christmas albums! I spent many many hours hunched over my scrappy desk to create these little guys. As you know I'm pretty new to the mini album world, so I think they look great! I took my design from the fabulous Wendy McKee. Lately, I've tried to be her little clone. I hope she does not mind. =)

This first one is CC's. I had to do the last page of each a little differently because for some strange she-must-be-from-another-planet reason, she can not handle touching velvet. I had a great Christmassey kit that I won from the Nook that was chock full of velvety paper that I loved and had to use--so Dude got that one. I wonder how much longer I can ramble on and on about velvet. I wonder if when CC reads this, she'll get the heebie jeebies just reading about velvet and it's soft short dense evenly threaded texture. Did you know that velvet was invented around the 14th century? The art of ancient velvet weaving probably originated in ancient Kashmir. Totally true, I just looked it up.

And here is Dude's last page with the velvet:

And a big good luck and shout out to my former Daycare Dearie's Momma who is being induced today with her first boy. Totally excited for you guys! (Can I babysit? Please??)

Those albums are amazing! So beautiful. BTW, my bathrooms are the same, I just pray when people come over they won't have to go!

Great layouts Amie! Don't stress about the bathrooms. Either chose to clean them or chose not to. The key is to be completely content with your decision and enjoy it! Don't allow yourself to feel guilty. :-)

I totally understand about the bathrooms! My son is 8 and still has a problem getting it all in. So can't help it as I HATE GERMS and TOILETS my hubby and son have to clean them so that I don't have to touch them but still have to check to see if they are clean and flushed for guests, lol. Those layouts are awesome!! And the BOOK.....FANTABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! I love it and those papers are awesome!!! I need to find out who's papers those are!
