confessions on a lovely valentine's day

So they say confession is good for the soul. I feel I must share some things with you that have been guilting my mind and weighing me down lately. Bear with me as I bear my bare soul.

1) I gained a pound last week. I didn't do my DDR at all, I was sloppy with my points, and I finished off a bag of salt and vinegar lays potato chips all by myself. And it was good.

2) I loved the movie "Blades of Glory." It's retarded and juvenile and it rocks my socks off. Normally, I can't stand Will Ferrell's brand of humor. But this one made me chuckle.

3) I used to bite my toenails. I don't mean like last Thursday, I mean like last decade. Or maybe earlier. I was probably 10 or 12 and much more bendy.

4) I have a crush on Zac Efron. There, I said it. And I don't care who knows it.

5) I don't know how to charge a battery. I've been taught countless times, but if it ever came down with it, I still don't remember which is positive and which is negative and if you're supposed to put the two positives together or the opposites together?

6) I've never been to IKEA. I don't think life will be complete until I change this. Same thing goes for the Claim Jumper restaurant.

7) I don't own a pair of pantyhose. I hate them and I think they need to be banned.

8) There are approximately 40 blogs that I check almost daily. Hello, my name is Amie, and I am a blog addict.

9) I love my mother-in-law. Even though she's slightly crazy.

10) I have well over 475 burned movies. Don't tell the po-po.

11) I own a black push-up bra and it makes my 'girls' look excellent.

12) Dear Mom, I'm sorry I just spoke of my 'girls' in public.

13) I used to weigh 200 pounds. Sad, but true.

14) I've sold and made a profit on things I've gotten for free. <----that one's particularly embarassing.

15) Last night for our anniversary, we did a Cold Stone Creamery run. I blew my diet and ate the Chocolate Fantasy (Ghiradelli's chocolate ice cream with Ghiradelli's chocolate w/ caramel bars crushed into it, with chocolate chips) I had the Love It size. And it was good. And it gave me a tummy ache. But it was worth it.

And now for something completely different.

Hubba Bubba is working today, so my 6:00am good-bye kiss is all I'm getting for the next 24 hours. We'll celebrate tomorrow by opening all our family Valentines and hopefully crashing another stake's Valentine's Dance. Amie likes to boogie.

Here is what I made for the kids' teachers this year (inside is a decorated bag of Valentine M&Ms):

And here is what I made for the kids' valentines this year, 64 of them precisely:

Have a good one everybody!

Ok we need to plan a trip to the East Side to go to Ikea, then swing back and have a late lunch at Claim Jumpers (one of my faves use to eat there all the time in CA so I can show you around the menu - btw don't eat for three days prior so you have enough points) and you can wear your black push up and I'll wear my pink one. Then that night we can scrap while watching Will Ferrel take 200 heads clean off the stand in doll while singing "there is one song I will skate to and one song only - my humps, my humps, my lovely lady lumps." It will be a glorious day :)

You are so crazy funny. I love the push up bra comment. I have several of those babies that I just ADORE! I will have to get "Blades of Glory". We have been hooked on "kicking and Screaming" since November or so. We have watched it about 40 times since then. It is sick I say. My 12 y.o can recite the entire movie. We are huge Ferrell Fans.
See ya.
