For some time, there has been a bit of an impasse going on at our house regarding R-rated movies. One of us tried to give them up long ago, while the other was not quite on board yet. If you read this blog, you know who is who, lol.
Anyway, happy to say that we have purged our DVD and VHS collection and are getting rid of the following movies. Some of these are new, some are burned, but all are R-rated. If any of you are interested, you're welcome to them, just email me and come pick them up. Here's your selection:
Air Force One
Bad Boys I
Bad Boys II
Backdraft
Braveheart (such a good one)
The Butterfly Effect
The Chronicles of Riddick
The Chronicles of Riddick Pitch Black
Con Air
Courage Under Fire
Doom
Double Jeopardy (another great one)
Enemy of the State (who knew this was r-rated?)
Final Destination I
Final Destination II
Face Off (be still my heart, Nicholas Cage and John Travolta were awesome in this!)
Gladiator (one of my all time favorites)
The Green Mile
Heat
In the Line of Fire
Last of the Mohicans
Man on Fire
The Matrix Reloaded
Matric Revolutions
Men of Honor
Mind Hunters
The Negotiator
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
Phone Booth
Pitch Black (VHS)
Ranson
Red Dragon
The Rock (one of the reasons I hated giving up R-Rated movies)
Silence of the Lambs
Shooter
Saving Private Ryan
Shawshank Redemption
Sweeney Todd (well, at least I saw it once, edited, lol!)
Sleepy Hollow
The Thomas Crowne Affair
A Time to Kill
Tombstone
Troy
We Were Soldiers
When Harry Met Sally
Young Guns II (VHS)
In closing *grin* I just want to say that I'm grateful for a living prophet who wants us to be the best we can possibly be.

We don't watch "R" movies here either but it was amazing to me how many of those movies I've seen on T.V. and thought were really great movies. Why can't they just make them the way they do for T.V. in the first place.
Good for you! We don't watch rated "R" movies either! I love your blog - it is beautiful!
This is my first time stopping by! Love the blog design!
Well, I can't very well tell you which one's I'd like on your blog, now can I? I'd be outing myself. Although I noticed, I gave you at least one on that list LOL! Oh, did I just write that?
Oh man. We gave up rated R movies awhile ago and there were a few that made me cry a little, well a lot, to give up. I love movies. This was such a tough one!
just throw them away. Why tempt someone else. ha ha
We did this a couple of years ago and I can't even begin to tell you the joy that consumed me when Shawn finally got on board about this! We purged and never looked back! Gave them all to my heathen brother and let him deal with it. I love how you ended your post! Shawn read the Prophet's Message in the Ensign one night and that's what finally swayed him. Ahhh, guilt!
