playlist goodies

'Member when I used to post those forelorn blogs saying, "Sigh, if I had an ipod, these songs would be on it..." ?

Well no more!

Thanks to Santa Claus, I now have my very own ipod! And you guys were right, it is the best for doing chores and getting stuff done around the house. I pop it on and in (those earbuds still kill me...how long does it take for the ol' lobes to get used to those suckers?) turn it up way too loud and then I sing at the top of my lungs like I don't care who's listening!

In truth, my kids complain.

"Mom," Sean will say, "we can't hear the music on your ipod, but we can hear you."

"I know, aren't I great?" I'll quip back.

Then he'll roll his eyes and I'll hand him a pile of laundry and shoo him on his way. And I'll belt out a bit o' Bon Jovi while I'm at it. Sigh. Life is so complete.

So, now I'll have to title these "last 10 songs I've uploaded to my ipod now that I'm cool enough to own one thank you very much."

As follows:

"Light On" by David Cook

"My Never" by Blue October--my current favorite

"Here in Your Arms" by Hellogoodbye

"Lips of an Angel" by Hinder

"White Horse" by Taylor Swift

"She Wouldn't Be Gone" by Blake Shelton

"You Found Me" by The Fray

"Angels on the Moon" by Thriving Ivory

"Second Chance" by ShineDown

"My Heart with You" by The Rescues--my second favorite

Oh, and I'm sorry if I never answer my phone anymore. I usually can't hear it. ;)

Congrats on your new ipod! They are a fun toy to have. Go to a big box electronics store and talk to them about your earbuds. They can show you which ones will work better for you. They are not all the same. My old earbuds hurt me and then I bought skullcandy and they are wonderful.

Well good thing I don't have your phone number then! (cell anyway...) Or else I may feel bad when I keep getting voicemail. *hehe* Glad life is complete! Still don't have an actual iPod, but I love my portable mp3 player!!

I am more of the strong silent type. I don't know why but even when I am driving I prefer no music. CRAZY!! I guess with 4 kiddos silence becomes a NOVELTY. However I am happy that you can get your groove going anytime of day now.

Yep, iPods are great. I have the 80 GB video and use it especially when flying. I have a few movies on there and about 16 Gigs of songs and that makes the flight go so quickly. Yes, the earbuds suck. Skullcandy are great and you can get them cheap. Bose has an in-ear headphone that is fantastic and allows you to choose between small, medium, and large rubber surround. My inner ear is tiny so the small fits and you can wear it for hours and not have it hurt.
