Well maybe my second favorite part - because everybody knows my favorite part is after the kids go to bed and all the adults just hang out around the campfire swapping stories and laughs.
No, my second favorite part is when we play games. Be it card games, board games, electronic, whatever. We did a nice mix of all three, first playing some rousing rounds of Electric Catchphrase, then Apples to Apples.
I was first introduced to this game last Christmas at my in-laws, and now all of us adore this game. So fun and easy to play, and best of course, with a big bunch of people who make it fun and sarcastic and interesting.
On occasion when we camp up near the rim, and particularly if we know we're going to be there 3+ days, we'll eat one meal at the little diner up there. It's nice greasy all-american food and gives us a small reminder of what it's like to eat in civilization.

Thanks Cavazos and Browns for a fun-filled weekend! Let's do it again sometime, and to our friends who weren't able to make it, we missed you and thought of you and hope you can come next time. =)
