I was invited to the delivery room to witness the birth of Chris and James' baby girl yestoday. I knew that, due to having a test at school, I'd likely miss the delivery...and I did. (I witnessed some other fun stuff...the breaking of the water, the setting up of the epidural and ensuing nigh-passing-out from Chris, and so on) After my test, I teared up a little as I read the six texts on my phone stating various states of the baby's arrival--and the fact that my lucky husband just happened to be working the hospital at the time and arrived literally 5 minutes after baby Harley was born. Schmuck.

Buuuut this isn't about me. It's about her.
And it's about them.
