how sweet is he?

I woke up this morning (about halfway through our very strange workweek with Dan in which he works 24 and 12 hour shifts consecutively through Saturday) to find this on the dresser.

And then this on the mirror.

Excuse the unruly state of my bathroom-cleaning those mirrors has been on my list all week long.

And then I found more on the playpen, the boy's room, the scale, the computer, the entertainment center, the stove, the phone, and the fridge.

Inside each, a thank you and a declaration of his love and why.

For example, the one on the bathroom mirror expressed thanks for always trying to look my best for him and that he feels that I am beautiful.

The one on the playpen thanked me for working daycare as a side job even though "being a housewife and mother is more than a full-time job."

And so on, detailing my skills at financing, housekeeping, being a good mom, packing his lunch every day, cooking, and just loving him.

Sweet huh?

I got lucky, girls.  He's a good one.  :)

How thoughtful of him to do that. It's hard when they work crazy times, it's so sweet of him to do that and help make your hard week a little bit easier to handle.

What a great thing to do. I agree, any little thing like this (and it ain't that little) makes your difficult week that much easier. Lucky you!
