how to peel a potato

I've shared this with many of you already, but I just had to slap it on the ol' bliggity blog as well.

Cuz I think it's just so cool.

And I'm easily amused.

And because this technique for peeling potatoes is so dang simple, I just can't believe that no one ever shared it with me before.

Thanks to Lorie for pointing it out. (Lorie, one day, you and I are gonna do lunch; I don't care if I have to drive all the way to Austin to do it.) *smile*

thanks so much for sharing this idea! i love potatoes - in any shape, form, or style!! maybe that's because i went to university of idaho (they used to call us spud-butts but that didn't diminish any of my love from the food or the state!) i am going to have to try this tip in the very near future.
and marianne was always my favorite...

This also saves more of the potato which is lost from skinning with a knife. No matter how much you try you always end up taking off more than you want. Thanks for the tip!
