Dan just got off 4 straight days of work--24hr/14hr/24hr/24hr--meaning in the past 96 hours he's worked 86! Nuts! Now he has 5 straight days off. We can't afford to go out of town, and camping is out because fires are not allowed (and what's camping without fire?) so we decided to have a fun-packed week here right at home!
Day one!
We started out by going to the duck pond. Used to be we'd do this and I'd take a hundred pictures of my kids. Now I go and take 100 pictures of my dog.
We had a lot of fun and Tallie loves the water.
We had some friendly balloon volleyball.
Later, we went to Water n' Ice for ice cream cones.
Then, Grandma came over for chile dinner and to give Sean his birthday presents (nice new CTR ring and tie tack, thanks Grandma!), we had Family Home Evening, and ate oatmeal cookies in the front yard while using the last of our 4th of July Poppers on the street.
We finished up the day by starting a movie "Sherlock Holmes 2: Game of Shadows" and sleeping in the living room. Yup, all of us!
Exciting start to our week!

Where is the water and ice that has thrify ice cream???? That is my favorite ice cream of all time:) Looks like you guys are having a super fun week. I have never even heard of those lava caves. Super cool but a little too claustrophobic (SP?) for me:)
That's awesome! You guys spend so much time having fun with your boys. Cool that you can do fun things without spending a ton of money.
