I dropped the end of an electric shaver on it--maybe half a pound--but it hit just right and shattered all over the place. I stood there for about 30 seconds just in shock. Did that just happen?
Took forever to clean up. I had to toss the rugs because they were full of shards of glass and I didn't want to risk future cuts and scrapes. I may have to toss the chairs too for the same reason. Not sure yet.
Hoping we can find something to replace the table top. This was a great set that we got for cheap on craigslist. Danggit.

whoa, amie! that is something alright. who would have thought it could happen with such a minor incident??? i hope you find a replacement. and every last piece of glass!
